Flip Damon ~ Late Nights

Flip Damon is a multi-instrumentalist that plays all keyboards, guitars, percussion, sax, string pads & vocals. The instrumentation is done very well. The vocals are OK, but there is not a lot of range for most of the songs. The examples to this are the last 2 cover songs. He does a cover of Eric Clapton’s “Tears In Heaven” & Brian Wilson’s “Your Summer Dream”. These songs stuck out to me as they seem to go in a vocal range where Flip has to go out of his range. This is not a bad album, but, I can only take a couple of songs at a time. I would give this album 3 Music Guru stars out of 5. Flip can certainly do the musical part well. He may want to substitute the vocals to someone who has a broader range.
