I love the voice of Ann Wilson. Yes, the voice of Heart has just put out a brand new album & it is fantastic. Her voice is just as perfect as any of the Heart albums from the 1970s or 1980s. The songs, of which, some are cover songs, are very good. Even the one that I thought that I would like best, which would be “Love of My Life” originally done by Queen, with guest Vince Gill. This 1 song, just didn’t quite make it for me. I think it’s because I really love Brian May’s guitar playing on that song & I felt it missing. The vocals were there for Ann & Vince. Every other song soared for me. Warren Haynes does some nice guitar playing on “Gladiator” & “Angel’s Blues”. Kenny Wayne Shepherd does a great job on Robin Trower’s “Bridge Of Sighs”. Give this one a listen. The music is there, the voice is there for sure. After about 60 years, Ann Wilson still has it. Keep it up Ann, I’ll still be listening. I give this 5 out of 5 Music Guru stars. All of this and a great Roger Dean cover.
