OK. Hopefully, I’ll get them all, but, I’m sure that I’ll miss a few. Here is my list, in no particular order.
The Who – The Who, – The first NEW Who album in over a decade. It’s not quite Who’s Next or Quadrophenia, but, it is up there with the 2 80’s Who albums.
King Crimson – In The Court Of The Crimson King 50th Anniversary, – The original album is great. When you hear some of the songs without certain parts and it still impresses, sometimes, surpasses, this is one you should hear.
Eloy – The Vision, The Sword And The Pyre – Progressive psychedelic music in pure form.
L.A. Guns – Another Xmas In Hell – Even though this was too short, it was a ton of fun.
Stephen Bishop – We’ll Talk About It Later In The Car – A great singer/songwriter who is very under rated.
7 Miles To Pittsburgh – Revolution On Hold – Guns & Roses Meet Traffic?? ‘Nuff said.
Gregg Rolie – Sonic Ranch – You may know this voice from Santana & Journey, prior to Steve Perry, but, let me tell you, the songwriting skills are great.
The Flower Kings – Waiting For Miracles – Another great progressive rock album. The Flower Kings go strong!
Robert Pehrsson’s Humbucker – Out Of The Dark – More progressive rock at it’s finest. Hard & heavy mixing with some pop.
Charm City Devils – 1904 EP – This one should spread out into an album. It’s too good for just 4 songs.
Sons Of Appollo – Live With the Plovdiv Psychotic Symphony – A live album that I actually like? No, I love it.
Steel Panther – Heavy Metal Rules – This is a parody band, but, they ARE serious when it comes to their music. GREAT STUFF!
Narnia – From Darkness To Light – Progressive Christian Rock. Don’t let that fool you, this band is HOT!
Angel – Risen – Another come back album that rises to form.
Graham Bonnet Band Live In Tokyo 2017 – again, another live album, which I’m not usually fond of, but, this one rises above it.
Johnny Reed – Alteernate Reality 7 – Another great album from Johnny Reed. This one you will love.
Magic Pie – Fragments Of The 5th Element – Prog Rock at it’s finest again. 2 long songs & 3 short ones. This IS PROG!
Lucy In Blue – In Flight – Psychedelic progressive rockers from Iceland with at least 1 long song on this album. Great stuff.
Whitesnake – Flesh & Blood – Another great come back album.
Richard X. Heyman – Pop Circles – A solo project from a member of the doughboys. Richard is really a great musician & songwriter.
Ruphus – New Born Day & Ranshart – Progressive rock originally done in the early 70’s that still sounds fresh today.
Nad Sylvan – The Regal Bastard – More Prog with some great guests including Steve Hackett, Tony Levin, Nick D’Virgilio & more.
Joseph Patrick Moore – Nevada Sun – This man can play & write. All instruments were played by Mr. Moore.
The Chris White Experiment – Volume 1 – Familiar sounds from the co-writer of the Zombies.
John Diva & The Rockets Of Love – Mama Said Rock Is Dead – A great ROCK album. If you’re a fan of Bon Jovi, you’ll love this.
Don Felder – American Rock & Roll – This eagle has not landed YET! He is still soaring & putting out great music.
Alan Parsons – The Secret – A great album from the man who brought you many GREAT albums throughout the years. Guest stars include Lou Gramm & Jason Mraz.
Todd Rundgren’s Utopia Live At The Chicago Theater – Another live album that makes my cut. Wow!
Girls On Grass – Dirty Power – Rock, pop, Country all mixed together on 1 album. Boy, is this good!
Roine Stolt’s The Flower King – It seems like everything Roine touches turns to gold. This album is also true of that.
Dream Theater – Distance Over Time – Nothing new, but, with Dream Theater, you don’t need new.
Phil Keaggy, Tony Levin & Jerry Marotta – The Bucket List – A smooth new age/fusion album.
Rosy Vista – Unbelievable – The name of the album says it all. This all female band really rocks the house.
Quiet Riot – One Night In Milan – Yes, another live album that made my cut. Listen LOUD!
Dearling – Silver & Gold – A good blend of music & vocals.
Neal Morse Band – The Great Adventure – Another concept album from Neal & crew that soars.
