CHEAP TRICK ~ We’re All Alright

This new album by Cheap Trick is good, but, it does not start off strong. Robin Zander’s vocals just don’t seem to be where they should be until “Radio lover” (4) or “Lolita” (5). The album really seems to pick up from there. Most of the album is written by the members of CHEAP TRICK with some co-written by Julian Raymond. “Blackberry Way” (11) was written by Electric Light Orchestra’s ROY WOOD. All in all, a good album. Not a great album, but, certainly a good one. One thing the album is missing is the bombastic drums of Bun E. Carlos. I don’t know if there is any bad feelings between the band & Bun E. Carlos, but, I can certainly hear a different drummer in this recording. I’d rate this 4 out of 5 Music Guru Stars. I may need to listen a few more times. This may pick up the star rating. Give it a listen & tell me what you think.
