The Temperence Movement ~ White Bear

Temperance Movement

The Temperence Movement has come out with a new album titled “White Bear”, bringing to your ears a good blend of Rock & Roll with alternative with a twist of pop. While the opening track “Three Bulleits” starts off with a Rock Thrust, track 2 “Get Yourself Free” brings out a little bit of the alternative mixed with a bit of pop. “Modern Massacre” reminds me a bit of Velvet Revolver, so, as you can see, they’re all over the place.  The title track to the album brings it down a bit, then steps up & comes down, etc. This reminds me of a Who song. I love when a song starts off slow, then picks up. Then it really picks up with the following song “Oh Lorraine”.  “Magnify” starts off with a psychodelic feel to it, then goes back to the Temperance Movement Rock sound. There are 2 bonus tracks available. “Do The Revalation” is an upbeat track that make you want to groove out. This could be my 2nd favorite track on the album, while “Time won’t leave” has a great pop feel to it. My favorite track would be the title track “White Bear”, but, I really like all of the album except maybe 1 track. This gets 5 out of 5 Music Guru Stars. For those in the Philadelphia area, they’ll be playing at the Foundry on April 8th, 2017.
