Tim Bowness ~ Lost In The Ghost Light

Tim Bowness just released his fourth solo album this past week, and after a few listens, I’ve found that I really enjoy it. At first listen, I was saying, “Ehhhh, it’s alright”, but after repeated listens, I could really hear the creative side of this concept album. musicians on this album are COLIN EDWIN, HUX NETTERBAUM, STEPHEN BENNETT, BRUCE SOORD, ANDREW BOOKER, which comprise the core band, with added guests KIT WATKINS from HAPPY THE MAN & CAMEL, STEVE BINGHAM from NO-MAN, ANDREW KEELING from ROBERT FRIPP, & IAN ANDERSON from JETHRO TULL. There is a lot of flute playing on this album, for sure. You may know Tim from the live PORCUPINE TREE experience, but this is a different animal all together, unless you want to include that STEVEN WILSON also mixed & mastered this album. Give this album more than 1 listen.  I give this album 4 out of 5 Music Guru Stars.
