Greg Lake ~ Manouvers

This is a re-release of a long lost Greg Lake solo album. You get the same music & singing from Greg Lake with Gary Moore on guitar & songwriting abilities added. There is a more concise move to Progressive Pop moving it’s way closer to album oriented rock on this re-release of the 1983 release. I’ve always been a fan of Greg Lake’s vocals & his songwriting talent. This album does not let me down. If you liked the first Greg Lake solo album, you’ll love this one as well. “Slave To Love” reminds me of “Cest La Vie” from ELP’s Works Volume 1 album. Greg went a bit off of his ELP bandwagon, but, I think that’s what I like about it. “Famous Last Words” also brings in a songwriting collaboration from Sweet’s Andy Scott. This album gets 5 out of 5 Music Guru Stars.
