Todd Rundgren ~ Box O’Todd

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Todd Rundgren, until I listened to this. This is radio concert footage from the 1970’s with a band called The Hello People. This is a 3 CD Box Set with songs from Philadelphia, PA in 1971, Hemstead, NY in 1972, & Cincinnati, OH in 1973 with Utopia. A bit of banter since these are small live shows after Todd’s days with the Nazz, but, he does play some of those songs. Todd’s voice sounds great on the recordings & the Cincinnati set really stood out to me on the band’s end. I wasn’t expecting much out of this set, but, boy, was I pleasantly surprised. 5 out of 5 Music Guru Stars.
