Ace Frehley seems to be busy putting out music lately. Alright, not necessarily true, but, in 2 years his name has been out there twice. Last year’s tribute album titled “Spacewalk” & now this album, where he’s doing covers of some classic rock music. Playing covers of Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, The Troggs, Steppenwolf, The Kinks, & more. There are some guest stars on the album as well. Lita Ford, Slash, Paul Stanley just to name a few. Ace does a good job on most of the tracks although I wasn’t impressed by his version of Jimi Hendrix’s “Castle In The Sand”. I you’re a Kiss fan, there are a few Kiss songs on this album as well. Of course, Ace would be able to play these with his eyes closed. My favorite track would have to be the opening track, Cream’s “White Room”. This gets 4 out of 5 Music Guru Stars.
