Another WHO show? Absolutely. The best live band around, in my opinion. Missing both Keith Moon & John Entwistle, the WHO still have it. Filling in for Keith & John, as most of you know by now, is Zack Starkey, whose father is the legendary RINGO STARR, who will be playing the TOWER THEATER, in Upper Darby, PA,  soon, & lessons from Uncle Keith, & on bass, Pino Palodino, who was in pete’s solo touring band before joining the WHO. On guitars, along with Pete, was Pete’s brother, Simon Townshend. Pete Townshend was perfect, as always, but, he seemed a little held back at tonight’s show. Roger Daltrey was right on with his vocals & he too, played guitar on a few songs. They played about 15 songs in a 2 – 2 1/2 hour show with no breaks. They opened up with “I Can’t Explain” & continued on with some great WHO tracks, such as “Who Are You”, “Bargain”, “I Can See For Miles”. “Join Together”, “Eminence Front”, My Generation”, “The Seeker”, “Behind Blue Eyes”, “I’m One”, “Baba O’Riley”, “A Quick One While He’s Away”, “Love Reign O’er Me”, “You Better You Bet”, “Squeeze Box”, “The Kids Are Alright”, a fantastic “Tommy Medley” that flowed together so well, even though I would have liked to hear “I’m Free”, which they didn’t play during the “Tommy Medley”.  They finished off with “Won’t Get Fooled Again”, their famous ending song on most tours, but, not all. Roger hit that Scream in that song so perfectly, I thought that great, as did everyone else in the arena that night. The songs were not played in this order, but, these were the songs that were played. The WHO will be coming back around in November this year, so get your tickets now, this may be their last show. I hope not, but that is the rumor. this show gets 5 out of 5 Music Guru stars, even without them playing the long version of “Magic Bus” & “I’m Free” That I would have loved to hear them play. Thank you to The WHO & their full band, whose names I didn’t mention above. Opening up for the Who, was JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS, who also put on a great show. How much better does it get than that? GO SEE THIS TOUR!!!
