The WINERY DOGS at the KESWICK THEATER, Glenside, PA. July 30, 2014

Winery Dogs 2Winery Dogs

The WINERY DOGS are not just a band. This is a super group. Consisting of Mike Portnoy – Drums (Dream Theater, Neal Morse, Transatlantic, Flying Colours), Richie Kotzen – Guitar and keyboards (Poison, Greg Howe) and Billy Sheehan – Bass (Mr. Big, UFO, Steve Vai, David Lee Roth) this trio rocked Glenside Wednesday night July 30, 2014, at the KESWICK THEATER. Not only was the show great, but, the Keswick is one of the best places to see a show in the Philadelphia area. The band kept you hypnotized for the whole time they were onstage. They played tracks from their album, “The Winery Dogs” and they put into the set a cover of Gary Wright’s “Love Is Alive” and also slipped Sly Stone’s “I Want To Take You Higher” into one of their jams. The jams kept you spellbound, not on any one person, but, all three at the same time. This day was also Mike Portnoy’s anniversary to his wife, which he announced at the show. Happy Anniversary Mike & Marlene. This show gets 5 out 5 Music Guru Stars, not only from me, but, my 15 year old son as well. GET THE ALBUM!!!
